Python Coding Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Role overview Challenge AI models with practical Python software engineering tasks, evaluate their reasoning and code, and document where their answers fail. The work covers topics ranging from algorithms and application development to cloud infrastructure and systems programming, with the goal of improving model quality through careful technical feedback. This is a remote contract role.

Responsibilities - Present the model with Python coding problems and software engineering scenarios. - Check responses for logical correctness, coding fluency, clarity, and overall code quality. - Probe topics such as asynchronous programming, REST API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding, and distributed systems debugging. - Record reproducible error traces and explain failure modes clearly. - Suggest improvements to prompts, evaluation methods, and model responses.

Requirements - Strong Python coding expertise and broad software engineering knowledge across areas such as algorithms, data structures, architecture, and development. - Ability to assess code for correctness, security, readability, and sound design. - Clear technical writing and communication, including the ability to explain reasoning step by step.

Nice to have A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. Practical Python experience, technical writing, or open-source contributions can also demonstrate relevant skills.

Benefits and work setup Remote contract work pays $8–$65 per hour, with the rate determined by experience, expertise, and location. Contractors provide a secure computer and high-speed internet. Company-sponsored health insurance and paid time off are not included.
