Coding Specialist (Fluent in Spanish - Latin America) - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Role overview Evaluate and improve language models’ software engineering skills and their ability to communicate technical ideas naturally in Latin American Spanish. The work spans programming fundamentals, application development, infrastructure, and systems topics, using realistic technical prompts to uncover errors in both code reasoning and language use.

Responsibilities - Discuss software engineering tasks and technical scenarios with language models in Latin American Spanish. - Review solutions involving algorithms, data structures, software architecture, frontend and backend development, cloud systems, and systems programming. - Check reasoning on asynchronous code, REST API integration, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding, and distributed-system debugging. - Assess coding logic, fluency, and the naturalness and correctness of Spanish usage. - Capture reproducible model errors and recommend improvements to prompts and evaluation measures.

Requirements - Fluency in Spanish as used in Latin America, alongside strong coding expertise. - Knowledge of software engineering concepts and the ability to explain technical reasoning clearly. - A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field is preferred; graduate degrees are also relevant. - Practical coding experience, technical writing in Spanish, or open-source contributions are useful.

Benefits and work setup - Remote contract role. - Compensation is listed as $8–$65 per hour; the offer depends on experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the stated range. - Contractors provide their own secure computer and high-speed internet.
