Coding Specialist (Fluent in French) - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Role overview Assess and strengthen language models’ software engineering capabilities and technical communication in French. The work ranges from programming fundamentals and application development to cloud infrastructure and systems programming, with realistic challenges used to check both technical correctness and the quality of French-language responses.

Responsibilities - Work through software engineering tasks and technical scenarios with language models in French. - Review answers about algorithms, data structures, architecture, frontend and backend development, cloud infrastructure, and systems programming. - Evaluate reasoning involving asynchronous programming, REST APIs, memory management, object-oriented design, secure coding, and distributed-system debugging. - Check coding logic and whether French terminology and phrasing are natural and correct. - Record reproducible model errors and propose improvements to prompts and evaluation measures.

Requirements - Fluency in French and strong coding expertise. - Broad software engineering knowledge and the ability to explain reasoning clearly. - A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferred; a master’s or doctorate is also relevant. - Practical coding experience, technical writing in French, or open-source contributions are useful.

Benefits and work setup - Remote contract role. - Compensation is listed as $8–$65 per hour; the offer depends on experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the stated range. - Contractors provide their own secure computer and high-speed internet.
