Software Engineer II, Fullstack (App Experience)

Role overview Help deliver cross-team improvements to consumer journeys across web and mobile surfaces, from the app or website home experience through product offers and related flows. The work combines frontend development with mobile and API contributions, partnering with engineers and product teams to build connected experiences across platforms.

Responsibilities - Break larger initiatives into deliverable tasks and ship them in phases with support from a tech lead and manager. - Work with product, design, and analytics partners to shape solutions, explain technical constraints, and weigh risks and tradeoffs. - Build and improve web and mobile experiences and contribute to APIs that support them. - Monitor service health, raise issues when needed, and take part in operational and on-call work. - Participate in code reviews and team growth activities, including interviewing.

Requirements - At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience; a related bachelor’s degree is also accepted. - Experience shipping web applications using a declarative UI framework such as React or Vue. - Experience shipping mobile apps with native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native. - Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python. - Ability to solve problems across multiple software components with clear, well-tested, extensible code. - Comfortable working in a large codebase, debugging existing code, and providing code review feedback; strong communication and a proactive approach to feedback are also expected.

Benefits and work setup Remote-first within the country of employment, with occasional office work possible and in-person onboarding for new hires. The listed US annual base pay range is $165,000–$225,000 in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT, and $146,000–$206,000 in other states. The package may include equity, monthly health, wellness, and technology stipends, medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible time off, and holidays.
