Role overview Build and refine high-traffic consumer web experiences within a marketing and privacy engineering team that powers logged-out web, experimentation, client-side tagging, and marketing integrations. The role pairs hands-on frontend work with collaboration across product, design, analytics, and data engineering to deliver reliable, privacy-aware experiences at scale.
Responsibilities - Break down larger projects into individual tasks, deliver them in phases, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely release. - Support the product development lifecycle by partnering with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, and trade-off decisions. - Maintain operational health of team artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics, escalating issues, and contributing to on-call and "keep the lights on" work. - Contribute to team community through growth activities such as participation in the interview process.
Requirements - 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer. - Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue. - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Demonstrated ability to take a simple problem or business scenario and design a solution spanning multiple software components, with clear, well-tested, extensible code. - Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews. - Strong verbal and written communication skills suited to a global, remote engineering team, plus equivalent practical experience or a related Bachelor's degree.
