Software Engineer I, Fullstack (Search)

Role overview Contribute to a search-focused product area as an early-career full-stack engineer. You’ll work with a team to build and improve software that helps consumers discover shopping options, while balancing delivery speed with code quality and system reliability.

Responsibilities - Take on engineering tasks that support team projects and goals. - Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders, sharing progress and making risks and trade-offs visible. - Build solutions that connect multiple software components, with support from the team. - Help maintain reliable services while delivering work at an appropriate pace. - Participate in team learning and development, seek feedback, and contribute to code reviews.

Requirements - Work or internship experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. - Work or internship experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale, using Python or Kotlin. - Ability to turn a straightforward business need into clear, tested, and extensible software spanning multiple components. - Comfort navigating a large codebase, debugging existing code, and reviewing other engineers’ work. - Strong written and verbal communication for collaboration with a global engineering team. - A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
