Role overview
A Senior Product Manager position is available on the Consumer Payments team, which powers how customers successfully make payments on a buy-now-pay-over-time platform. The role focuses on creating new payment experiences that make repayment easier, improving payment success rates, and shaping how payments are processed safely and cost-effectively. It is a highly cross-functional position working at the intersection of product, engineering, analytics, finance, design, and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Investigate where paying breaks down for customers through research and data analysis, and share insights broadly across the team. - Design new payment experiences that make repayment easier, partnering with design and analytics from discovery through launch. - Design and run experiments aimed at improving conversion, payment success, and processing cost. - Help shape how payments are processed safely and cost-effectively, weighing performance and risk considerations. - Act as a trusted partner to product, engineering, finance, design, and partnerships, exploring new opportunities and evaluating their impact. - Drive an ambitious roadmap that delivers customer and business outcomes by identifying the highest-impact bets and presenting strategy to senior leaders.
Requirements
- Five or more years of product management experience. - Strong analytical rigor, with comfort working in data and using experiment results and customer research to inform product decisions. - Genuine curiosity about customers, with strong instincts for where an experience breaks down and the drive to fix it. - Experience holding informed conversations with engineers about how systems work and the tradeoffs they carry. - A track record of taking products from discovery through launch and iteration, including turning ambiguous or conflicting inputs into a clear plan. - Clear communication and influence, with the ability to explain tradeoffs and build trust and alignment across product, engineering, finance, design, partnerships, and senior leaders, without relying on formal authority.
