About this role
Role overview
Lead the strategy and delivery of consumer-facing financial products across international markets. You’ll shape the roadmap for apps, wallets, marketplaces, and related experiences, adapting products to local customer needs while balancing commercial goals, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set product direction and drive execution, growth, and scale across international consumer offerings. - Use customer research and performance data to adapt features and improve how people discover, use, and manage products. - Define success measures and deliver product changes that improve customer and business outcomes. - Partner with engineering teams to shape scope, priorities, and delivery, including teams outside your direct reporting line. - Build roadmaps with design, research, analytics, marketing, legal, compliance, credit, and fraud partners. - Align senior stakeholders, resolve organizational blockers, and make clear trade-offs between customer needs and commercial results.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing technical software products from kickoff through launch and measuring their business impact. - Experience with consumer technology products in Canada, the UK, the EU, or Australia; fintech, commerce, marketplaces, or payments experience is an advantage. - Ability to work through technical details with engineers, design choices with designers, and product performance with analysts. - Strong communication and organizational skills, with examples of gaining decisions across broad groups of senior stakeholders. - Experience influencing engineering teams beyond your direct authority and shipping quality products on schedule. - Commercial judgment, a bias toward action, and the ability to turn ambiguous or conflicting inputs into a practical plan.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote role based in the UK; occasional in-person work and onboarding may be part of the arrangement. - The listed annual base pay range is £120,000–£168,000. Additional offerings may include health coverage, spending stipends, flexible time off, and an employee stock purchase plan.
