Role overview Join the Point-of-Sale Analytics team powering growth strategy for major platform partnerships at a consumer lending and payments company. This Analytics Lead role owns the end-to-end analytical portfolio for a significant business area, partnering with Strategic Partnerships, Product, Finance, Engineering, and Pricing to size opportunities, shape product decisions, and measure the impact of key initiatives. The position suits a general-manager-minded analyst who combines rigorous quantitative work with strong cross-functional leadership.
Responsibilities - Own and prioritize the analytics portfolio for a major product or business area, defining success metrics, identifying investment opportunities, and measuring impact across customer experience, growth, risk, and profitability. - Lead complex analyses that balance growth, credit performance, customer experience, and unit economics. - Translate analytical findings into clear narratives and business cases for senior leadership decision-making. - Tackle ambiguous problems by formulating core hypotheses and designing experiments that validate product-market fit and economic viability. - Influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Revenue teams to build alignment on important decisions. - Build scalable data models, metrics, dashboards, and AI-assisted analytical workflows with rigorous validation, reproducibility, and governance. - Mentor analysts and develop reusable analytical practices and tools that raise the bar across the analytics organization.
Requirements - General manager mindset with strong product and credit risk judgment and a track record of spotting high-impact opportunities. - Deep understanding of consumer lending economics, portfolio performance, and credit metrics, with comfort balancing growth, credit, experience, and profitability tradeoffs. - 6 or more years of experience in a cross-functional analytical role with demonstrated impact on significant product, risk, or business decisions. - Advanced SQL and Python skills, including statistical analysis, experimental design, and practical A/B testing experience. - Exceptional communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders. - Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar assistants to accelerate analysis and automate workflows.
Nice to have - A graduate degree in a quantitatively rigorous field or equivalent practical experience.
