Role overview A consumer finance company is hiring an Analytics Engineer II to join its Revenue Analytics team, building the data products, reporting infrastructure, and semantic foundations that power the Revenue organization. The role spans data modeling, metric definitions, dashboards, automation, and the metadata layers needed to make AI use of revenue data reliable.
Responsibilities - Develop dbt data models, dashboards, metrics, and automation for the revenue field team and revenue analysts - Build and maintain critical reporting models that power external merchant reporting - Construct semantic, metadata, and context layers that let AI systems accurately interpret revenue data and business definitions - Partner with Business Systems, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into durable, well-tested data products - Contribute to version control, code review, documentation, and GitHub-based release hygiene - Develop governance and foundations that scale the impact of analytics across Revenue
Requirements - 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or business intelligence - Strong working knowledge of SQL, dbt, Python, data modeling, and data visualization - Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau, plus Databricks and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake - Understanding of data foundations for reliable AI, including semantic layers, metadata, evals, metric definitions, documentation, and data quality - Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day analytics workflows - Familiarity with Salesforce and supporting commercial teams - Ability to turn ambiguous problems into impactful, scalable solutions and to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have - Experience with revenue operations, monetization analytics, or merchant-facing reporting - Background contributing to internal analytics standards, documentation, or governance practices
