Senior AI Consultant

Role overview Lead the design and delivery of advanced AI solutions for customer problems, combining language models, agentic systems and machine learning pipelines. The work ranges from architecting production-ready approaches to guiding implementation, operations and responsible use in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities - Design and deploy generative AI and agentic AI solutions on enterprise platforms. - Build production RAG pipelines, addressing document chunking, vector search, retrieval evaluation and end-to-end optimisation. - Develop agents that use tools, memory and multi-step reasoning. - Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, guardrails and responsible AI practices to enterprise LLM solutions. - Establish evaluation, experimentation, monitoring and CI/CD practices for AI workflows. - Write production-quality Python and guide solutions from initial prototype through deployment.

Requirements - Proven experience designing and deploying generative and agentic AI solutions. - Deep practical knowledge of production RAG systems and retrieval evaluation. - Experience with enterprise LLM applications, including safeguards and responsible AI. - Strong Python skills and ability to deliver across the AI project lifecycle. - Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or CrewAI. - Knowledge of LLMOps/MLOps, model assessment, monitoring and AI governance.

Nice to have - Experience with Databricks Mosaic AI Agent Framework, Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, Databricks Asset Bundles, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Benefits and work setup - Salary range: €55,000–€75,000. - Based near Lisbon, with flexibility around office attendance and occasional customer or team visits.
