AI Consultant

Role overview Help customers put generative and agentic AI to work on complex business problems. The role spans the development lifecycle: exploring use cases, building language model and machine learning solutions, and taking them through deployment with attention to quality, governance and ongoing operation.

Responsibilities - Design and deploy generative AI and agentic solutions using enterprise AI services and platforms. - Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, including chunking, vector search, retrieval evaluation and optimisation. - Develop AI agents with tool use, memory and multi-step workflows. - Apply prompt engineering, fine-tuning, guardrails and responsible AI practices to enterprise language model applications. - Evaluate and monitor models and workflows, and support experimentation and CI/CD for AI delivery. - Write production-quality Python and carry solutions from prototype toward deployment.

Requirements - Demonstrated experience delivering generative AI and agentic AI solutions. - Practical expertise building and evaluating production RAG systems. - Experience with enterprise LLMs, including prompts, fine-tuning and safeguards. - Python proficiency and ability to contribute across prototyping and production deployment. - Familiarity with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or CrewAI. - Knowledge of LLMOps/MLOps practices, model evaluation, monitoring and AI governance.

Nice to have - Experience with Databricks Mosaic AI Agent Framework, Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, Databricks Asset Bundles, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Benefits and work setup - Salary range: €40,000–€55,000 per year, depending on experience. - Based near Lisbon, with flexibility around office days and occasional customer or team visits.
