Microsoft 365 Software Engineer (SharePoint Framework Developer)

Role overview This role centers on engineering solutions inside the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, with a strong focus on SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development. The engineer will sit within a Platforms and Process Automation team, contributing to tooling and automation initiatives across Microsoft 365. The position is offered as fully remote within Romania.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts, extensions, and custom components - Develop solutions that integrate with Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Graph - Collaborate with process automation colleagues to translate business needs into platform capabilities - Apply modern front-end engineering practices and participate in code reviews - Contribute to deployment pipelines, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Microsoft 365 customizations - Document technical designs and implementation choices for the wider team

Requirements - Practical experience developing with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React - Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and SharePoint Online architecture - Familiarity with REST APIs, SharePoint APIs, and Microsoft Graph - Understanding of modern front-end tooling, build pipelines, and version control - Comfort working in a collaborative, distributed engineering environment
