Delivery Lead (PMO) with German

Role overview

The Delivery Lead (PMO) role sits inside an Engineering Methodologies and Project Management function, responsible for steering structured delivery across IT and services initiatives. The position blends program leadership with stakeholder coordination for German-speaking partners, and the team operates as a fully remote unit based in Romania.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery for projects within the engineering and IT services portfolio, keeping scope, timeline, and quality aligned - Run PMO governance routines, including planning cadence, status reporting, and delivery tracking across concurrent initiatives - Act as the primary liaison for German-speaking client and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication - Apply, reinforce, and continuously improve delivery methodologies within engineering teams - Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, escalations, and resource coordination across programs

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience leading delivery in IT, engineering, or technology services engagements - Business-level proficiency in German and English, with the ability to operate in cross-cultural settings - Solid grasp of project management frameworks and engineering delivery workflows - Background supporting or running a PMO function, with ownership of governance and reporting - Comfortable working remotely from Romania as part of a distributed team

- Exposure to modern engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe) and how they integrate with PMO practices - Experience working with German-based clients or within DACH-region programs
