Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer

Role overview Developer focused on building and supporting service-oriented integrations for a Department of Defense mission. The position sits within an Agile delivery team, designing composite applications and middleware solutions that underpin logistics, supply chain, and enterprise operations.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain SOA composite applications using BPEL processes, Mediator services, ESB integrations, Oracle Service Bus, and SOAP/REST services. - Develop integration solutions supporting logistics, supply chain, and enterprise business operations in a DoD environment. - Translate functional requirements into technical design and reusable integration patterns alongside analysts and testers. - Troubleshoot interface issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve integration defects across Oracle EBS and supporting middleware. - Participate in code reviews, integration validation, and release readiness activities. - Produce technical documentation, mapping specs, and test evidence aligned with federal client standards. - Maintain compliance with federal cybersecurity, configuration management, and DoD data handling requirements.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree. - 4+ years of hands-on Oracle SOA Suite experience (BPEL, Mediator, OSB/ESB). - Proficiency with XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT, and Web Services. - 4+ years of experience with Java, PL/SQL, or similar enterprise integration technologies. - Strong troubleshooting skills across logs, payloads, and service flows. - 4+ years working in Agile development environments. - U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Security clearance.

Nice to have - Oracle B2B configuration experience, including Document Editor, trading partners, and B2B agreements. - Background delivering integrations in defense, federal, or other regulated environments. - Familiarity with DevSecOps platforms, automated testing tools, or Oracle Cloud technologies.
