SAP ABAP Developer

Role overview

Design, build, and test enterprise SAP applications for US federal government clients in defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations. The role blends hands-on ABAP development with business analysis, working closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Translate business requirements into detailed enterprise application designs - Collaborate with SAP Functional Consultants and client teams to analyze alternatives and recommend solutions - Prepare programming specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for application modifications and installations - Contribute to budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning activities - Mentor and train junior team members, potentially managing a small group of developers

Requirements

- 4+ years of SAP ECC development experience - Hands-on experience with ABAP development across system analysis, design, coding, and testing - US Citizen (no dual citizenship) - Must be eligible to obtain a government Public Trust Clearance - Willingness to travel up to 25%

Nice to have

- Relevant SAP Development certification - Bachelor's degree in a related field
