Role overview A federal services technology organization is hiring a Salesforce Data Management Lead to design and run a full data migration into the Salesforce Person Account model for a banking-sector client. The work covers profiling, mapping, transformation, mock conversions, production cutover, and the long-term governance framework that keeps data clean after go-live. The lead will partner closely with client data stewards to deliver sign-off-ready artifacts.
Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end data migration strategy from Microsoft Dynamics and NetCRM into the Salesforce Person Account model. - Lead data profiling, field-level mapping, and transformation design using MuleSoft DataWeave, in partnership with client data stewards. - Direct iterative mock-conversion cycles, plan and execute production cutover extraction and load, and run post-migration reconciliation. - Design the native duplicate-merge and deduplication strategy, including Salesforce duplicate rules, custom Apex probabilistic matching, and a data-steward Lightning Web Component. - Establish the data governance framework covering data-quality standards, access and security model alignment, and an archiving and retention strategy with hot, warm, and cold tiering. - Prepare migration specification deliverables and reconciliation reports for client sign-off.
Requirements - Proven experience leading data migration and management work, with hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce Person Account model. - Strong familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics and NetCRM data structures. - Proficiency in MuleSoft DataWeave for data transformation. - Experience designing and rolling out data governance frameworks and deduplication strategies. - Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong written and verbal communication. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate with data stewards and a range of stakeholders.
Nice to have - Familiarity with Salesforce duplicate rules, custom Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
