About this role
Role overview A federal technology contractor is hiring a SailPoint Developer to design and deliver identity and access management (IAM) solutions on the IdentityIQ platform. The work supports U.S. government clients by onboarding applications, integrating systems, and strengthening access governance. The role requires an active Secret security clearance and centers on secure, compliant IAM delivery in a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities - Build custom integrations between SailPoint IdentityIQ and applications, directories, and downstream systems using APIs and connectors - Configure identity governance workflows, access certifications, and provisioning logic to support onboarding of new applications - Implement role-based access control (RBAC), access policies, and other safeguards aligned to regulatory and security standards - Produce and maintain technical documentation covering design specifications, configurations, and integration details - Prepare reports on system performance, access governance posture, and compliance metrics for stakeholders - Partner with IT, security, compliance, and project management teammates to deliver IAM initiatives on schedule
Requirements - Four or more years designing and implementing enterprise IAM solutions - Four or more years delivering identity governance and administration (IGA) platforms such as SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow, Saviynt Security Manager or Enterprise Identity Cloud, or IBM Security Verify Governance - Hands-on experience with the Java programming language for integration and customization work - CompTIA Security+ certification or an equivalent credential - Active Secret security clearance (U.S. government requirement) - Ability to produce clear technical documentation and collaborate across security, IT, and compliance functions
Nice to have - Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks such as FISMA, NIST 800-53, or FedRAMP - Prior experience supporting mission-driven or regulated environments
