About this role

Role overview

Build and support a case-management and workflow platform used in a public-sector environment. This hands-on engineering role combines backend development in C#/.NET and Azure with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform work, covering new features, defect resolution, automated testing, deployments, and ongoing production support. You will join an established team working across evolving priorities and collaborate through code reviews, pair programming, planning sessions, and AI-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities

- Learn and maintain the solution architecture, codebases, integrations, and data models spanning Dataverse and Azure-based .NET services. - Design, implement, and test enhancements in model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and containerized C# services. - Develop automated tests and ensure changes meet project quality and release standards. - Review existing canvas applications and workflow automations, documenting findings and proposing improvements to reliability, performance, usability, and maintainability. - Participate in backlog refinement, story discussions, estimation, stakeholder sessions, and technical problem solving. - Support development, test, and production environments through deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

Requirements

- Advanced experience with .NET Core and C# application development, including console applications, Azure Functions, and containerized services. - Strong understanding of microservices and lightweight service architecture, with practical Docker experience. - Experience using Azure Container Registry and build or release pipelines in GitHub or Azure DevOps. - Experience developing Dataverse model-driven Power Apps, including C# plugin development and data-model design. - Knowledge of Power Platform environment configuration and administration. - Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows. - Must qualify as a U.S. Person and have U.S. work authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship.
