Role overview Design, build, and maintain integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform for a major U.S. federal technology program. The work centers on connecting disparate applications, systems, and databases to enable reliable, enterprise-wide data flow in support of defense, civilian, and public safety missions. The role pairs hands-on development with client-facing collaboration, so clear communication of technical detail is just as important as coding skill.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integration flows linking applications, systems, and data stores across the enterprise - Elicit integration requirements from business and technical stakeholders and translate them into specs and integration designs - Build and maintain data mappings, transformations, and orchestration flows on the Anypoint Platform - Partner with architects, analysts, and other developers to deliver integration projects on time and to standard - Execute unit and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing - Troubleshoot production issues and recommend platform improvements - Stay current on MuleSoft capabilities and share best practices across the team

Requirements - Hands-on MuleSoft development and implementation experience - Strong command of Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, API-led connectivity, and CloudHub - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and common integration protocols - U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Nice to have - MuleSoft Developer Certification - Experience authoring API specs in RAML, Swagger, or OpenAPI - Prior team-lead or object-oriented development experience
