About this role
Role overview Step into a Microsoft 365 Developer role serving as the primary technical lead for designing, building, and maintaining workflow automations, reporting solutions, and data structures across the Microsoft 365 stack. The position requires independent problem-solving, ownership of technical decisions, and the ability to research and resolve complex issues with minimal oversight. The role partners across functions, supports data governance, enables responsible AI usage, and keeps systems stable and accurate.
Responsibilities - Design and implement solutions through structured research, testing, and troubleshooting across Power Automate, SharePoint, Power Apps, and adjacent tools - Diagnose workflow failures, SharePoint issues, permission conflicts, and data inconsistencies across Microsoft 365 environments - Build and optimize Power Automate flows, SharePoint integrations, and Power Apps interfaces, including proof-of-concept automations and validation utilities - Maintain SharePoint list architectures and oversee migrations, cleanups, redesigns, and post-migration validation - Troubleshoot Power BI data models and multi-step reporting pipelines, and improve Excel/Access exports and VBA macros - Document solution logic and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical partners - Follow SDLC principles including change management, version control, and testing
Requirements - Advanced expertise in SharePoint Online, including architecture, permissions, and migrations - Advanced proficiency in Power Automate - Experience building Power Apps interfaces and customizing forms - Power BI skills covering Power Query and dataset troubleshooting - Strong Excel, Access, and VBA troubleshooting experience - Familiarity with GitHub for change management and version control - Working knowledge of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude - Familiarity with .NET/C# fundamentals and Microsoft Forms or legacy SharePoint Designer approaches
Nice to have - Microsoft Power Platform certifications - Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments - Background designing internal tools and utilities for workflow automation and data quality - Experience optimizing architecture for AI-connected workflows
Benefits and work setup Base pay range of $106,300 to $206,200 USD, depending on labor costs in the listed U.S. states and the District of Columbia. A broad benefits package is offered, with specifics varying by location and role. U.S. work authorization is required without current or future visa sponsorship.
