About this role
Role overview Contribute as a senior developer on a cross-functional agile team delivering Microsoft Power Platform applications for U.S. federal government clients. The role focuses on translating user stories into high-quality technical solutions while maintaining stability, security, and long-term maintainability of automated workflows and applications.
Responsibilities - Partner with cross-functional agile teams to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements. - Design, code, and implement customized solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, aligned with business requirements and technical best practices. - Define development goals, estimates, and timelines to support agile planning, and write unit tests to confirm functionality meets acceptance criteria. - Test application stability, performance, and functionality throughout the development lifecycle, and troubleshoot functional and technical issues including bugs and integration problems. - Create technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer or training to end users and project teams. - Maintain the integrity and security of application software, including adherence to enterprise standards.
Requirements - Microsoft Dynamics or Power Platform Developer Associate Certification (PL-400 or higher). - Three or more years of experience as a software developer using object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++, with at least two years of direct Java experience. - Three or more years working with low-code or no-code platforms such as Appian, Salesforce, or ServiceNow. - Three or more years developing on relational database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or MariaDB. - Three or more years of data modeling experience, including creating and modifying standard and custom objects. - Three or more years developing with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, plus experience using JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and APIs to support low-code or no-code solutions. - Three or more years on agile delivery teams performing testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and authoring technical artifacts, plus three or more years using Git for branching, merging, code reviews, and pull requests. - Two or more years deploying Microsoft Power Platform applications. - U.S. citizenship.
Nice to have - Experience delivering enterprise-scale Power Platform applications. - Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security controls. - Background supporting digital transformation initiatives or modernizing legacy workflows. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in distributed environments.
Benefits and work setup - Base pay range of $106,300 to $206,200 USD, with variation by office location, role, skill set, and experience. - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and other offerings, with ongoing application acceptance.
