Role overview This is a senior developer role leading the technical work for migrating complex data into Oracle Cloud ERP. The position owns conversion architecture, mentors junior developers, and acts as the subject-matter expert across the data conversion lifecycle. The work spans mock cycles, dress rehearsals, and final cutover for federal-sector implementations.
Responsibilities - Lead the technical design of data conversion strategies and produce detailed source-to-target mapping documents - Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL, PL/SQL packages, and ETL processes that produce Oracle Cloud-compatible formats such as FBDI and HDL - Own execution of data load cycles, including mocks, dress rehearsals, and production cutover, ensuring all dependencies are met - Serve as the final technical escalation point for troubleshooting data errors and performance bottlenecks - Design validation and reconciliation processes and produce scripts and reports to confirm data accuracy post-load - Mentor junior developers, run code reviews, and establish team best practices - Partner with functional leads, business analysts, and client subject-matter experts on requirements and cleansing
Requirements - 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in data conversion or migration for Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, SCM, or HCM) - Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL skills for extraction, transformation, and validation - Proven leadership of technical data conversion across multiple project lifecycles - Deep, hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud data loading tools, including FBDI and HDL - Strong grasp of ETL principles and the full data migration lifecycle, from analysis through post-go-live support - U.S. Citizenship
Nice to have - Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or enterprise ETL platforms such as Informatica - Background in federal, regulated, or public-sector environments - SQL and data-loading performance tuning skills - Client-facing or consulting experience with strong communication and leadership presence
Benefits and work setup - Base pay range of $86,400 to $176,200 USD, varying by location and experience - Wide-ranging benefits package and ongoing development support - Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without future visa sponsorship
