AI Advisor

Role overview An AI Advisor role acting as a strategic consultant to a federal client's Artificial Intelligence Division. Responsibilities - Advise senior client leadership on emerging AI technologies, capabilities, and industry trends. - Recommend infrastructure, tooling, workforce, and skill-development strategies for adopting modern AI. - Translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategic recommendations for executives. - Build consensus across technical, operational, and leadership stakeholders. - Develop dynamic dashboards and reports that monitor AI systems and surface meaningful insights. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mission requirements into AI-driven technical solutions.

Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or a closely related field. - Proficiency in AI-oriented programming languages such as Python or R and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Extensive hands-on experience with AI model development, NLP, and ML techniques. - Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, gather requirements, and communicate AI insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have - 10+ years of experience combined with a Master's (M.S.) or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. - Experience with AI/ML model and data engineering, database management, and data pipeline tools such as NiFi or Databricks. - Ability to formulate and apply mathematical modeling or optimization methods to inform management decision-making and policy. - Advanced certifications in AI or machine learning and a strong network within the AI/analytics community. - Comfort working on high-visibility or mission-critical projects independently.
