Native Mobile App Developer (Swift & Kotlin)

Role overview Build and evolve the native mobile apps for a shopping product that helps customers discover and buy items from multiple stores. The first release focuses on iOS, with Android planned as the product grows. You’ll own mobile features from technical design through implementation, testing, and release, connecting the apps to backend and AI services while keeping essential shopping and payment journeys dependable on real devices.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain the iOS app in Swift, then build the Android app in Kotlin as that platform comes online. - Turn product and design requirements into polished native interfaces and reusable components. - Integrate mobile clients with APIs and services for product discovery, accounts, checkout, payments, and order tracking. - Implement robust payment and authentication flows, including 3D Secure where required. - Test on real devices, investigate crashes and performance issues, and improve reliability across app states and network conditions. - Support app releases and ongoing iteration, working with design, QA, backend, and AI colleagues.

Requirements - Professional experience building native mobile applications with Swift and/or Kotlin, and readiness to work across both platforms. - Solid understanding of mobile architecture, API integration, and maintainable application code. - Experience delivering features through implementation, testing, and release. - Ability to diagnose mobile bugs and build reliable experiences for critical flows such as authentication and payments. - Clear communication and effective collaboration in a remote, cross-functional team.

Nice to have - SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose, e-commerce or fintech products, payment authentication, or AI-enabled consumer apps. - Arabic and right-to-left mobile design, push notifications, deep links, observability, or mobile CI/CD. - Exposure to Python or backend frameworks.
