Cloud Architect - Networking

Role overview

Cloud Architect focused on networking who provides technical delivery leadership across multiple client engagements. The role leads architectural conversations, coaches peers, unblocks delivery teams, and shapes reusable artifacts that help a consulting infrastructure practice scale.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the technical delivery lead on client engagements, driving architectural design sessions and managing expectations. - Coach and guide peers through implementation while cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture. - Foster relationships between delivery, delivery excellence, and solution architecture teams, and across practice areas. - Partner with delivery excellence to keep project milestones aligned with a plan that captures key client decisions. - Help delivery teams meet billable targets by removing project blockers and facilitating change orders or extensions. - Lead multiple concurrent engagements, support unblocking work, and create reusable artifacts and content for consulting teams.

Requirements

- Prior experience providing technical delivery oversight on multiple client engagements with strong consultative skills. - Broad, deep Azure expertise spanning Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, security services, App Gateways, Front Door, Firewall, VWAN, Storage, Automation (IaC), Sentinel, App Services, AKS, Managed Instances, Azure SQL, DNS, Azure Virtual Desktop with Nerdio, and Azure Files. - Experience designing secure, high-performance network topologies with VNets, subnets, and peering strategies. - Hands-on configuration of Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Web Application Firewall, and Azure DDoS Protection. - Strong infrastructure-as-code experience using Bicep or Terraform to deliver cloud solutions. - AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification.
