Backend Engineer

Role overview A senior-leaning backend engineering role focused on designing secure, high-throughput APIs and serverless infrastructure that powers web and mobile platforms. Responsibilities - Architect and build secure, scalable APIs and serverless services for production traffic. - Design, migrate, and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas. - Improve query performance and data access patterns across services. - Collaborate with front-end and mobile engineers to define contracts and integration points. - Document system architecture, data flows, and engineering decisions for the wider team.

Requirements - Indonesian citizen residing in Indonesia; the role is fully remote within the country. - Three or more years of backend or full-stack engineering experience with a backend focus. - Deep proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript, or Python using FastAPI or Django. - Strong grasp of relational database design, schema migrations, and query optimization. - Professional written and spoken English skills.
