Analytics Engineer

Role overview This position sits between data engineering and data analysis, with a focus on shaping analytics-ready data models and the pipelines that feed them. The day-to-day work centers on translating raw warehouse tables into well-modeled, tested, and documented datasets using dbt, while keeping reliability, freshness, and downstream usability front of mind.

Responsibilities - Design and maintain dimensional and fact data models inside a modern cloud data warehouse. - Build, version-control, and document dbt models, tests, and macros using software engineering best practices. - Define and monitor data quality checks, freshness alerts, and anomaly detection on critical tables. - Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to convert reporting needs into trustworthy, reusable datasets. - Tune SQL, table structures, and warehouse configurations for cost and query performance.

Requirements - 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or senior data analysis. - Deep, hands-on expertise with dbt and advanced SQL for data modeling, including slowly changing dimensions and layered architectures. - Practical experience with at least one major cloud warehouse such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift. - Professional-level English communication skills for async and live collaboration. - Indonesian citizenship and current residence in Indonesia; the role is 100% full remote.
